Suryoday Small Finance Bank has appointed Pankaj Gulati as Chief People Officer and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

In his new role, Gulati will lead HR and CSR within he company. He will also oversee key aspects of the company’s marketing functions.
Prior to his current appointment, Gulati had been a part of AU Small Finance Bank. He joined in April 2024 as Chief People Officer, Chief Marketing Officer & COO – Corporate Services | Fincare Unit and then became Executive President | Head of COE & Shared Services HR in February 2025.
For over 13 years, Gulati was a part of Fincare Small Finance Bank. He started working for he company in December 2010 as Chief People & Marketing Officer. His responsibilities expanded in March 2021 as he then became Chief People Officer, Chief Marketing Officer & COO – Corporate Services.
From August 2009 to September 2010, Gulati worked for MetLife India Insurance as an Associate Director. He was also a part of Max New York Life Insurance as Consultant – New Markets SBU from October 2007 to July 2009 and as a Manager from July 2002 to June 2005.
In the past, Gulati has also worked for Pivot, ING Vysya Life Insurance, and HSBC. He has a PhD in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from DoMS, IIT Madras.
