Powercon has appointed Deepika Chavan as Chief People Officer – Group.

In her new role, Chavan will work closely with the leadership team to align the people strategy with business objectives, focusing on strengthening leadership capability, driving cultural transformation, advancing digital HR innovation, and enhancing organisational effectiveness. This is her second stint with Powercon, having previously worked at the company as a Human Resources Manager from May 2017 to June 2021.
Chavan brings nearly two decades of experience across IT, renewables, FMCG, and EPC sectors. She most recently served as Senior Manager – People & Culture at Tekdi Technologies, a role she took up in May 2024. Before that, she was Human Resources Manager at ITCube Solutions from June 2021 to May 2024, where she led employee experience design, culture transformation, and employer branding initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Chavan joined Sula Vineyards in May 2015 to lead plant HR for its manufacturing facility, handling the full HR lifecycle with a team of five HR professionals until January 2017. She previously served at VA Tech Wabag as SBU HR for two years and ten months, leading recruitment-to-exit operations. She was also a part of Monster in her earlier career. She is an alumna of the Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management.
