Optiv Appoints Nupur Bedi as HR Leader, India and Senior HR Director

Nupur Bedi has been appointed HR Leader, India and Senior HR Director at Optiv, the cyber advisory and solutions firm.

In her new role, Bedi will lead Optiv’s India people strategy, with a mandate spanning leadership capability development, strengthening the talent pipeline, and supporting business transformation as the company scales operations in the region.

Before joining Optiv, Bedi ran an independent HR consulting practice as a Fractional CHRO, Strategic HR Advisor and Executive Coach, advising organisations, including startups, on organisation transformation, talent management, executive coaching, organisational development interventions, global HR strategy, employer branding, and leadership capability development.

Earlier, Bedi was Regional Human Resources Director at Abbott, where she led HR strategies within the manufacturing and healthcare business. Prior to Abbott, she spent more than five years at General Mills as Human Resources Director and HR Head — India Global Capability Centre (GCC). At General Mills, she led the people and culture agenda for a 2,500-plus GCC supporting digital and technology, R&D, solutions development, sales solutions, consumer insights, shared services and finance, with HR shared services support extending across 22 countries.

Before General Mills, Bedi was Head, HR – India and South East Asia Market at Novartis, with regional coverage spanning Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. Earlier in her career, she held HR roles at L’Oréal, The Scarborough Hospital (Toronto), and GE Capital.

Bedi holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, and a Master’s in Law from Symbiosis Society Law College. She has also completed the Facilitative Leadership Program at York University and the Transition to Advanced Management programme at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP).
