
Jio-bp has appointed Shilpa Surve as Head of Human Resources, entrusting her with the people leadership mandate at the energy and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited and bp.
In her new role, Surve will lead the Jio-bp people agenda across talent management, organisational capability, leadership development and employee experience. The move marks an expanded HR leadership role for her at Jio-bp, where she had previously gained experience within the organisation.
Surve joins Jio-bp from Knowledge Realty Trust, where she served as Vice President, Human Resources, as part of the leadership team overseeing people-related priorities.
Her career reflects a steady progression across industries including energy, media, real estate and financial services, with expertise built in learning and development, talent management and HR strategy. Before Knowledge Realty Trust, her earlier HR assignments included Nucleus Office Parks, a Blackstone company.
Her appointment adds to the senior leadership structure at Jio-bp, with her responsibilities spanning the people and organisational side of the business.
