Allana Group, India’s largest exporter of branded processed food and agro-commodities, has appointed Manish Dwivede as its group chief human resources officer. The move takes effect from July 2026, with Dwivede stepping in to lead the people function across one of the country’s oldest and most globally spread food businesses.
Dwivede brings more than 27 years in HR, spanning industrial relations, organisational transformation and talent strategy across large manufacturing and agri-processing setups. His remit at Allana covers the full spectrum of the function: leadership capability, culture, talent development and the industrial-relations machinery that keeps a plant-heavy business running.
He joins from Emami Agrotech, where he served as CHRO for four years from July 2022 to July 2026. Based in Kolkata, he ran HR, IR and administration for the edible-oil and agri major during a period of rapid capacity expansion. Before that, he spent seven years at DIC Corporation as CHRO and senior vice president of HR for India and Bangladesh, handling HR, IR and CSR across both markets.
His earlier career includes a long stint at VE Commercial Vehicles, the Volvo-Eicher joint venture, where he moved from HR business partner to head of corporate HR, and early corporate roles at Ballarpur Industries (BILT) and Jindal SAW. That arc, weighted heavily towards factories, exports and multi-site workforces, maps closely onto what Allana needs.
