Zypp Electric has granted employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) worth Rs 11 crore to more than 250 employees. The Gurugram-based EV rental company, which serves last-mile delivery businesses, made the grants in September 2026 and announced them on 30 September.

The recipients make up 22% of Zypp’s workforce. They include more than 50 EV technicians, as well as field sales teams and staff across operational and corporate functions.

Akash Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO, Zypp Electric, said:

“For us, ESOPs are fundamentally about creating ownership, not just retaining employees.”

He added that extending ESOPs across employee bands, including EV technicians and field sales teams, reflects the company’s belief that ownership should be shared across the organisation.
