Accor has appointed Amit Malik as Vice President – People & Culture, India & South Asia.
As Vice President – People & Culture, South Asia at Accor, Malik will lead the People, Talent & Culture agenda across India and the broader South Asia region, partnering with business leaders to build organisational capability, strengthen leadership pipelines, and enhance employee experience across the hospitality group’s expanding portfolio.

Malik brings over two decades of experience spanning human resources, business leadership, and organisational transformation across multiple industries and geographies. He is recognised for his work in culture building, leadership development, and large-scale organisational change, with a track record of working closely with boards and senior stakeholders on governance and strategy.
Prior to joining Accor, Malik served as President – Japan, Asia Pacific & Australia (JAPA) at WadzPay, a global fintech firm, where he oversaw the company’s regional operations.
Before WadzPay, Malik spent a significant part of his career at Aviva Life Insurance India, progressing through a series of senior mandates, including Chief People Officer, Chief People Operations & Customer Services Officer, and ultimately CEO & Managing Director. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Bank of America, American Express, and GSK Consumer Healthcare.
