Saurabh Chaudhuri steps into CMS Info Systems as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head – Human Resources, tasked with leading the people function and partnering with the Leadership Team on talent strategy, organisational effectiveness, and the company’s next phase of growth.
An alumnus of TISS, Mumbai, and St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Saurabh brings over 16 years of HR experience spanning large conglomerates and high-growth start-ups across India and global markets.

Most recently, Saurabh served as the Head of Global HR CoE at Godrej Consumer Products, where he oversaw HR strategy across India-SAARC, Indonesia, Africa, the Middle East, the USA, and LatAm. Prior to Godrej, he was Head – HR at Udaan, the B2B e-commerce platform, where he led business transformation across multiple categories and built the HR function from scratch during a period of rapid scale. He began his career with the Aditya Birla Group, working across manufacturing businesses in India and Southeast Asia.
Across these roles, Saurabh has developed expertise in organisational design, performance management, rewards and productivity frameworks, and talent management. He is recognised for translating people strategy into business outcomes and scaling agile HR practices across diverse geographies.
Saurabh’s appointment follows the superannuation of Sanjay Singh, who served as CHRO at CMS for five years, starting in 2021. Singh joined during a period of organisational transition and is credited with stabilising the HR function, building the team, and driving the company’s agenda on talent, culture, performance, and digital initiatives.
