AssetPlus Appoints Mayank Kapoorr as CHRO

AssetPlus has appointed Mayank Kapoorr as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

“I’m excited to share that I have joined AssetPlus Team as their Chief Human Resources Officer,” Kapoorr shared on LinkedIn.

Most recently, from August 2023 to February 2026, Kapoorr served as Global Head – People Success (CHRO) at M2P Fintech, leading HR strategy across 1,300+ employees in 20+ international markets.

Kapoorr began his career as a Lobby Manager at The Park Hotel, New Delhi, before moving into a corporate HR trajectory. In May 2003, he joined IBM Daksh Business Process Services as Manager – Training, where he oversaw leadership, functional, and soft-skills training for approximately 3,000 employees across BFSI client services.

In August 2007, Global Head – People Success (CHRO) moved to [24]7.ai as Senior Manager – Learning and Development, followed by a stint at NIIT, where he supported training delivery across all Genpact India sites, covering around 36,000 employees. In September 2009, he joined Aircel as Head – Learning Systems and Processes, and was subsequently promoted to Head – Learning and Development (North & West India).

From 2015 to 2016, Global Head – People Success (CHRO) served at Snapdeal as Director – Human Resources (Head – Snapdeal Academy). He then spent over six years at Freecharge as Head – Human Resources Administration (CHRO), partnering with the CEO, leadership team, and Board/NRC on workforce strategy, executive compensation, succession planning, and leadership development.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur with a specialisation in Human Resource Management, Kapoor has also completed the Future Leaders Programme at Harvard Business School. He holds certifications, including HRMP and SHRM-SCP.
