NatWest Group India has appointed Ritu Tushir as Head of HR.
In her new role, Tushir will be leading the company’s people operations in India, as per BW Businessworld. Talking about her appointment, Tushir said how NatWest India has a strong foundation of specialist talent, and she looks forward to strengthening future skills, deepening the talent strategy and fostering a culture where inclusion and accountability go hand in hand as organisations navigate the convergence of human intelligence and AI.
Ruchika Panesar, Country Head, India and Chief Digital & Information Officer, Group Functions, NatWest Group, also shared her thoughts about the appointment, commenting that Tushir’s strategic HR leadership and experience in scaling talent in global environments will help strengthen NatWest India’s role as a key innovation and talent hub for the Group.
Prior to joining NatWest Group, Tushir had been a part of Northern Trust Corporation from October 2021 to March 2026 as Head of HR, Asia Pacific Servicing Centres. She was also associated with American Express for over 9 years, having first joined the company in December 2010 as Director – Human Resources, a role he held until May 2014. Tushir came back to the company in December 2014 as Director of Human Resources and then became Vice President of Human Resources in March 2019.
From June 2014 to November 2014, Tushir was with Whirlpool as Director of Human Resources. Before that, she worked for Genpact for over 8 years, first as Assistant Manager – Human Resources from March 2002 to March 2004 and then as Manager – Human Resources from March 2004 to April 2006. In May 2006, she became Assistant Vice President – Human Resources at Genpact and held the role until November 2010.
