Workday has appointed Lakshmi Menon as Director, Talent Acquisition.

With over 19 years of experience in talent acquisition, Menon specialises in building high-performing teams, driving talent strategy, and scaling recruitment operations across tech, finance, and consulting sectors. She is well-versed in leadership hiring, DEI, workforce planning, and building world-class teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.
Prior to joining Workday, Menon was a part of McKinsey & Company as Head of India Recruitment – India Consulting Office. She held the role from January 2023 to September 2025.
“It’s hard to capture in words the gratitude I feel for the experiences, growth, and relationships that have defined this chapter. At McKinsey, I’ve had the privilege of leading talent acquisition for India – driving transformative strategies, championing diversity and inclusion, and working alongside some of the most inspiring and innovative colleagues in the industry,” Menon wrote in her farewell post.
From June 2017 to December 2022, Menon was a part of BlackRock as Vice President. She was also affiliated with Standard Chartered Bank from July 2016 to June 2017 as Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. Additionally, Menon worked for HCL Technologies from May 2014 to July 2016 as a Senior Manager.
For over seven years, Menon worked for Accenture Services as a Specialist. She joined the company in September 2006 and worked there until May 2017. During this time, she contributed to the company’s later hiring, leadership hiring, and generalist HR functions.
