Hyderabad-based Pulsus Group has announced a ₹500 crore investment to expand its AI healthcare and digital innovation hub at Ameenpur in Telangana, with plans to create 6,000 direct jobs and around 30,000 indirect employment opportunities.
The expansion of the 35-acre campus near Miyapur gained momentum after the Supreme Court upheld the project’s IT/ITeS Park and Special Economic Zone status. The Ameenpur site had been held up for years by legal and regulatory disputes over its SEZ classification, and the ruling has removed that uncertainty, clearing the way for faster construction and operational scale-up.
The campus will focus on AI-powered healthcare solutions, healthcare data analytics, clinical research support, bioinformatics and digital services. According to the company, the hiring will span software engineers, AI specialists, healthcare data scientists, clinical research associates and bioinformatics professionals as demand for digital health capabilities grows.
“The Ameenpur project, located near Miyapur, was envisioned as a hub for technology and employment generation. Despite delays caused by legal and regulatory challenges, we remained committed to this vision,” said Dr Gedela Srinubabu, CEO of Pulsus Group.
Pulsus operates in health informatics, medical publishing and pharmacovigilance, with an existing presence in Visakhapatnam. The company has pointed to a track record on employment, noting that the Ameenpur facility has already generated about 1,500 direct jobs, with parliamentary records under the India BPO Promotion Scheme showing earlier job creation through its Omics International arm.
