Ottobock has appointed Jiel Narvekar as Head – Human Resources (HR).

In her new role, Narvekar will align Ottobock India’s HR strategies with organisational goals. She will also lead the HR function to implement effective human resource management practices. Ultimately, Narvekar aims to foster a culture of collaboration and performance, enhancing employee engagement and productivity.
Prior to joining Ottobock, Narvekar was a part of Keva – Fragrances, Flavours & Aroma Ingredients. From January 2023 to September 2025, she served as an HR Business Partner for Keva. Narvekar was also a part of Rich Products from November 2021 to January 2023 as Deputy General Manager – HR.
For over 9 years, Narvekar was associated with Firmenich. She joined the company in November 2011 as Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition & Training and held the role until September 2014. In October 2014, Narvekar became Manager – Talent Acquisition and Training.
From January 2017 to November 2019, Narvekar worked at Firmenich as HR Manager, Recruitment & Talent, IMA. She was then appointed as HR Business Partner in December 2019, a position she retained until May 2021.
Narvekar briefly served as Associate Manager – HR at Unistanz Software from October 2011 to November 2011. She was also a part of Etisalat DB Telecom from February 2009 to September 2011 as Senior Executive – HR. Narvekar’s past work experiences include her time as an Assistant, HR at Writer Corporation and as a Resource Executive at Contactx Resource Management.
