Infosys has started its annual performance review cycle and employee are hopeful that their salaries will be increased in 2026, as per the Economic Times.

As part of the review process, the Infosys HR team has asked employees to submit their self-assessments by October 17, 2025, shared ET. The review request follows the established Infosys review calendar, which starts in October of every year, with ratings typically shared in January and salary letters released in June.

“This is a routine exercise, but we hope the company will give us a raise this time, unlike last year,” an employee told ET. Notably, Infosys has been breaking from its pattern for some time, having frozen its salary hikes in FY 2022-2023 to conserve cash. The company did raise salaries, effective from November 1, 2023.

For the FY 2024-2025 cycle, the annual appraisal was delayed and rolled out in two phases. The hikes for employees at Job Level 5, including lower-level employees and team leaders, were rolled out in January 2025. In contrast, Job Level 6 employees, including managers up to the vice-presidential level, received hikes in April 2025. As per reports, the increments rolled out were 5-10% lower across all levels when compared to increments issued in November 2023.

For the current cycle, employees have been, according to the Economic Times, asked to  reflect on their key efforts and goals. In an email, the Infosys HR team asked employees to plan development goals, identify skill-building and career development areas to support their growth, and ensure the employee’s development plan reflects both current responsibilities and aspirations for future roles.

“This is your opportunity to reflect on your key efforts, outcomes, challenges, achievements, and set future-ready goals,” the mail said. The salary hikes of the employees will depend on which rating they achieve out of “met expectations,” “commendable,” and “outstanding performance.”
