IG Petrochemicals has appointed Pramod Sanap as its new Chief Human Resources Officer with effect from May 19, 2026, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
“The Board has appointed Mr Pramod Sanap as Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Management Personnel of the Company with effect from May 19, 2026,” IG Petrochemicals said in its disclosure filed with the stock exchanges.
Sanap takes over from Dr Rajkumar VP, whose resignation as CHRO took effect at the close of working hours on May 18, 2026. The decision was approved at the company’s Board of Directors meeting held on 18 May, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Sanap joins IG Petrochemicals after more than seven years at Laxmi Organic Industries, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, HR and Employee Relations. In that role, he led HR transformation across the organisation and ran people strategy for the integrated supply chain function, which accounted for a significant share of the company’s workforce. His remit at Laxmi Organic spanned talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, coaching, union management and broader people-process transformation.
Before Laxmi Organic, he held leadership positions at Diageo India, where he was Plant HR Head and HR Business Partner for a strategic manufacturing cluster, with responsibility for HR operations across large manufacturing units, organisational culture and industrial relations. Earlier in his career, Sanap worked with Hindustan Unilever and AkzoNobel India.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Labour Studies from the University of Mumbai and brings over 18 years of HR and employee-relations experience in manufacturing and consumer goods.
