HSBC has appointed Bhavna Ganjoo Soans as Leadership Talent Acquisition Lead, GCIO & GCOO, Asia and Middle East and GSC/HTC.
“I’m delighted to start my new role with HSBC as the Leadership Talent Acquisition Lead, GCIO & GCOO, Asia & Middle East and GSC/HTC,” Soans shared. “In this role, I’ll be leading strategic leadership hiring with a focus on attracting top diverse talent in the region.”
Soans is an experienced, passionate and qualified HR leader with experience across the Middle East and India. She has in-depth experience in international HR generalist roles that have helped her hone crucial operational skills. Her key skills include talent acquisition, performance management, talent engagement, and HR operations.
Prior to joining HSBC, Soans had been a part of State Street. She joined the company in January 2018 as Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Talent Acquisition, a role she held until December 2019. In August 2021, Soans was appointed as Vice President (VP), Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) India.
From February 2010 to November 2019, Soans worked for Search Point Management as Director (Talent Acquisition BFSI). She was also associated with the National Bank of Fujairah as an HR Business Partner from October 2004 to October 2007. In June 2001, Soans joined TVS Electronics as Senior HR Executive and held the role until June 2003.
