Flipkart has promoted Akshay Shetty to the role of Lead HR Business Partner. He previously served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Akshat brings over 18 years of professional experience in Human Resources Operations and Vendor Management.
Prior to joining Flipkart, Akshat took a 7-month career break for health and well-being. Before that, he worked with Grofers as Assistant Manager – HR, where he managed over 600 off-roll employees across the South India region, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. He oversaw monthly attendance and was responsible for managing vendors, including onboarding new vendors to meet manpower requirements.
He began his career as a Human Resources Recruiter at Paradigm Solutions, where he was responsible for sourcing candidates from various job portals, assessing and interviewing them to ensure alignment with client requirements, and coordinating interviews between candidates and clients. He also managed expectations on both sides and actively engaged in networking activities to identify and attract potential talent. Akshat has also held roles at JustDial, My Foot, Amazon Distributors Pvt. Ltd., and Caliph-E-Serve.
