Dream11, one of India’s leading fantasy sports platforms and the flagship brand of Dream Sports, has elevated Emmaline Rao to Vice President, Human Resources. Based in Mumbai and in the role since August 2026, Rao takes on a wider people-leadership mandate as the company enters its next phase of growth.
Rao’s association with Dream11 began in 2020, when she joined as Manager, HRBP. She progressed to Senior Manager, HRBP in 2022 and was elevated to Director, HR in 2024, taking on increasingly senior responsibilities across the people function. In April 2026, she moved into the role of Head, HR at Dream Money, where she partnered with founders and business leaders to align people strategy with business priorities, before returning to Dream11 in the VP role.
Her remit covers people strategy, leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement and HR transformation. In her most recent role, she worked on organisational design and hiring strategy, annual people planning, budgeting and headcount management, AI-enabled employee experience, and leadership coaching on performance and talent development.
Before Dream11, Rao spent more than seven years with Edelweiss Financial Services, progressing through HR business-partnering and employee-experience roles. She began her career with Web18 Software Services and later worked with Syntel as an HR Executive, Corporate Initiatives.
