CarTrade Tech has appointed Gaurav Sirohi as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer, adding an experienced HR and transformation leader to its executive team.
In the new role, Sirohi will oversee people strategy, talent management and organisational development across CarTrade Tech’s multi-brand automotive platform ecosystem which includes CarWale, CarTrade, Shriram Automall, BikeWale, CarTrade Exchange, Adroit Auto and AutoBiz.
Sirohi brings more than 17 years of HR experience across technology, digital marketplaces, healthcare, manufacturing, consulting and renewable energy sectors. He was most recently Chief Human Resources Officer at OLX India, where he led the company’s people strategy and organisational transformation agenda. Before that, he held senior leadership roles within the broader OLX Group, including HR Director for Product, Data and Technology and Associate Director, Human Resources working across India and Europe on talent and workforce initiatives tied to product, data and technology operations. Earlier in his career, he worked with Rays Power Infra Private Limited, euHReka Consulting LLP, BD (Becton Dickinson) and Escorts Limited.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Sirohi described his journey with OLX as one of the most defining phases of his career. CarTrade Tech, which completed its acquisition of OLX India, has been integrating the two businesses under a unified technology and marketplace strategy and Sirohi’s transition into the Group CHRO role reflects that continuity.
Sirohi holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune.
