Bengaluru-based real estate developer Brigade Enterprises Limited announced on 8 October 2026 that it will invest about ₹40,000 crore over the next three years to develop a 40 million square foot pipeline, a programme the company said is expected to generate around 23,000 direct and indirect jobs across its markets.
The investment will span residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and emerging segments including warehousing. Funding will come through internal accruals, project-level financing and strategic partnerships, Brigade said in its announcement. The plan was unveiled as the group approached its 40th year of operations, a milestone reached on 10 October 2026.
“Brigade is looking to invest approximately ₹40,000 crore over the next three years for a 40 million square feet development pipeline. Of this, around 70% will be allocated to residential, 20% to office and retail, and 10% to hospitality,” said Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises Limited.
The planned developments and new businesses “are expected to generate about 23,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities across construction, engineering, hospitality, retail, facility management and technology,” the company announced.
Brigade’s commercial expansion will be anchored by its World Trade Centre platform. The group has secured licences for three new WTC projects in Devanahalli and Whitefield in Bengaluru, and in Coimbatore. The company is also expanding its Orion retail brand beyond Bengaluru with projects planned in Chennai and Hyderabad. Brigade’s operating leasing portfolio currently stands at about 10 million square feet.
