CheQ announced that Rupal Rajal has joined the company as Head of Human Resources at India’s credit card management platform as it builds out its leadership team for its next growth phase.

In her new role, Rajal will build and scale high-performing teams, strengthen leadership effectiveness, support talent development, and foster a performance-oriented culture, with a focus on balancing startup pace with the organisational capabilities needed for long-term scale.

“As CheQ continues to expand its offerings and build a more comprehensive credit ecosystem, having the right people, leadership and organisational culture becomes increasingly important. Rupal brings a strong combination of fintech experience, strategic HR leadership and a hands-on approach to building teams. We look forward to her contribution as we strengthen our organisation and prepare for the next phase of growth,” said Aditya Soni, Founder and CEO, CheQ.

Rajal brings over 14 years of experience across fintech, technology, artificial intelligence, SaaS, consulting and FMCG. She joins CheQ after leading HR for Findem’s India business and driving global people initiatives. Earlier in her career, she served as Head of HR at Rupifi and Director of HR at Jupiter, gaining experience across the fintech ecosystem, with further stints at Kerry and Accenture broadening her exposure to different business models and organisational cultures.

“What excites me about CheQ is the opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech innovation and a rapidly evolving consumer credit ecosystem. Having worked with businesses at different stages of growth, I believe that strong people practices, empowered leadership and a culture of ownership are essential to building enduring organisations. I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to build high-performing teams and create an environment where people can do their best work as CheQ continues to scale,” said Rajal.

CheQ began as a credit card bill payment and rewards platform and has since expanded into a broader credit ecosystem spanning credit health monitoring, utility bill payments, AI-powered credit assistance through its Wisor product, lending through CheQ Insta Cash, the CheQ AU Credit Card and UPI payments.
