
Jyothsana Vasudevan has taken charge as President and Chief Human Resources Officer at SRF Limited with effect from 5 October 2026, stepping into the dual role as part of the company’s senior management personnel on a full-time employment basis.
Her mandate at SRF covers the company’s HR strategy, operating model redesign, people-process governance and support for the group’s growth and structural transformation agenda. The appointment was approved by SRF’s Board of Directors through a resolution passed by circulation on 1 October 2026, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, SRF said in a regulatory filing to the BSE and the NSE.
Vasudevan, 47, holds a Master’s in Human Resources from Indraprastha University, Delhi, where she graduated with a Gold Medal. She brings 24 years of experience across renewable energy, manufacturing, technology, supply chain, shared services and consumer durables.
In her most recent role, she was Senior Vice President and Head of HR at Avaada Electro, a renewable-energy manufacturing platform producing solar cells and modules, glass and related ancillaries. At Avaada, her stated responsibilities included building the HR strategy for a growing renewable-energy manufacturing platform and re-engineering processes for IPO readiness. Earlier roles in her career spanned HR leadership positions in manufacturing, technology, supply chain, shared services and consumer durables organisations, as disclosed by SRF.
Beyond her corporate roles, Vasudevan is a co-author of a UN Gender Compact award-winning whitepaper on Women at Workplace and serves as a pro bono HR Advisor to Brooke India, a UK-registered NGO.
