Dr Naresh Kumar Puritipati has taken charge as President, Human Resources at Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL), effective July 2, 2026, where he will lead the company’s people strategy, talent development, organisational culture, leadership capability and workforce transformation. He succeeds Naresh Pinisetti, who had been holding the HR function on an interim basis alongside his role as President, Corporate Governance.
Puritipati joins DFPCL from Lactalis India, where he served as Group HR Director overseeing the HR function across the group’s India subsidiaries, including Tirumala Milk Products, Anik Industries and Prabhat Dairy. Before Lactalis, he was CHRO at Spencer’s Retail, responsible for attracting, retaining, developing and engaging talent across the retail chain.
His earlier career ran through a series of Coca-Cola postings: Country HR Director for Coca-Cola in Myanmar from 2013, HR Lead at Coca-Cola Bottler Malaysia from 2011, and roughly 12 years at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, where he rose from factory HR manager to zonal head of HR.
Puritipati started out as a personnel and administration officer at Avanti Kopp Electricals in 1995, before a stint as a senior HR and administration executive at Heritage Foods. He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management, along with a postgraduate and undergraduate degree in the same field, from Andhra University.
Over more than 30 years, Puritipati’s expertise has spanned strategic HR, organisational development, talent management, leadership development, business partnering, employee engagement, performance management, workforce productivity and large-scale HR transformation across India, Malaysia and Myanmar.
