Banijay Asia has appointed Bhagyashree Zope as Head of Talent Acquisition for India and South East Asia. She steps into the role with over a decade of recruitment and HR experience across media, entertainment, OTT, and business services.
“Today, I am thrilled to bring those learnings to Banijay Asia- One of the most innovative and influential content production companies in the region. Here’s to new beginnings and new possibilities,” Zope shared on LinkedIn.
Zope joins from Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, where she spent more than four years as a Full Life Cycle Recruiter and recruitment business partner for Amazon Prime Video’s non-technology business. In that role, she drove strategic hiring, improved candidate experience, refined recruitment processes, and worked on diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Her earlier stops include Star TV Network and ZEE5, where, as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, she ran talent acquisition for digital businesses and handled onboarding and employee lifecycle operations across multiple ventures. She started out at Firstsource Solutions as an HR Executive, working on lateral hiring across business functions. Zope is an alumna of FLAME University.
At Banijay Asia, she will lead talent acquisition across India and South East Asia, supporting the company’s expansion and its ability to attract and hold onto talent across the region.
“All stories we attempt to tell are special,” reads the company’s positioning, a line that points to why production houses increasingly treat hiring as a competitive lever rather than a back-office function.
