Kamlesh Mehta has been named Head of Human Resources at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS), returning to the organisation in a senior leadership capacity.
In his new role, he will steer the company’s HR and industrial relations function, drawing on more than 25 years of experience in employee relations, benefits negotiations, workforce engagement and administrative leadership.
Mehta joins AIS from Modern Insulators Ltd, where he served as Vice President of HR & IR and led comprehensive people and industrial relations strategies at the company’s Sanand facility.
Over the years, he has built a strong profile as an industrial relations professional across Gujarat’s manufacturing sector. His earlier roles include General Manager of HR at Banco Products India and Head of HR & IR at Hettich India Pvt. Ltd.
He also spent close to eight years at GHCL Limited, progressing to the role of Assistant General Manager of Industrial Relations, and has held earlier positions at Modern Petrofils and Alok Industries.
