Shankar Ganesh Rajan has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at SPIC.
In his new role, he will oversee the company’s end-to-end HR and people strategy, with a mandate to strengthen talent development, enhance organisational effectiveness, and closely align human capital initiatives with SPIC’s business objectives.
Before joining SPIC, Rajan spent more than ten years with Sundaram Clayton Limited, where he held senior leadership positions, including General Manager of HR and Assistant General Manager of HR.
During this period, he led India-wide HR operations and contributed to group-level talent and capability initiatives. His professional journey also includes senior HR roles at Harita NTI Limited and SRF Limited, giving him close to 30 years of experience across diverse industrial and manufacturing environments.
With his deep expertise in people strategy and long-standing leadership experience, Rajan’s appointment is expected to support SPIC’s focus on building a strong, future-ready workforce aligned with its long-term growth plans.
