The Hartford has appointed Shiv Shankar Bose as Senior Director, Head of GCC HR Operations, HCM Applications, Compliance and Controls.
“Excited to share that I am starting a new role at The Hartford as Senior Director. In my role, I will head the GCC HR Operations, HCM Applications, Compliance, and Controls!” Bose shared on LinkedIn.
Prior to Bose was associated with Novartis for five years. He joined the company in October 2020 as Senior Manager – People Services & Technology Solutions and held the role until January 2026.
“Reflecting on my 5 years and 4 months at Novartis, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. It has been a privilege to contribute to an organisation that is so genuinely human-centric, a rarity in today’s landscape,” Bose expressed in a farewell post.
Bose added, “As I wrap up this chapter and move toward the next, I carry with me not just memories, but a standard of culture, values, and behaviour that will be hard to replicate. The connections made here have set a high bar.”
From June 2020 to September 2020, Bose was with Accenture as a General Manager. He was also a part of Cargill from January 2019 to June 2020 as HR Operations Lead – South Asia. Additionally, Bose served as Senior Manager – HR Services for Capgemini from January 2011 to January 2019. He was associated with Aon Hewitt from March 2004 to December 2010 as HR Operations Manager.
