DAZN India has appointed Venkat Chekuri as its new Head of People. In this role, Chekuri will lead the company’s people and culture agenda, enhance organisational effectiveness, and drive business growth through strategic HR leadership in the fast-paced digital and sports entertainment landscape.
Chekuri brings nearly two decades of HR experience across technology, gaming, financial services, and manufacturing sectors. Before joining DAZN India, he spent over eight years at Entain India as Lead HR Business Partner and Senior HR Business Partner, where he spearheaded cultural transformation, employer branding, and people strategy initiatives.
His earlier roles at InnoPark (India) Pvt. Ltd., Luminous Power Technologies, Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, and Papyrus Software further reflect his extensive expertise in shaping high-performing teams and fostering employee engagement.
With his deep experience in driving strategic HR programs, Chekuri is well-positioned to contribute to DAZN India’s growth ambitions while reinforcing a vibrant, people-first culture.
