The Amara Raja Group has appointed Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari as the new Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In the new role, she will succeed Jaikrishna B, who is set to retire after working with the company for more than two decades.
Maheshwari brings 30 years of experience in HR leadership across various industries, including manufacturing, automotive, energy, technology, hospitality, financial services, and shared services. Maheshwari will lead the HR functions for the group, focusing on people strategies.
She will be joining the company from Siemens, where she served as the Executive Vice President and Country Head for People and Organisation, as well as Diversity Officer, according to People Matters.
