Bonfiglioli India has appointed Naresh Rajendran as HR Director – Human Capital.
Rajendran has over 2 decades of experience across energy, engineering, IT, and research & development business verticals. He has handled country, regional and global HR roles, and helped in developing and executing HR Strategy to support business turnaround. Rajendran is well-versed in people strategy, aligning business strategy, leadership hiring, talent management, performance management, compensation & benefits strategy, and much more.
Prior to joining Bonfiglioli India, Rajendran was associated with GRUNDFOS for 8 years. He joined the company in January 2018 as Country Head HR – India & Exports Market and became Director HR – Europe & IMEA Region, Water Utility Business in January 2021.
Rajendran was also a part of Vestas for over 9 years. He was appointed as Senior HR Business Partner at the company in November 2008. In September 2011, Rajendra was given the role of Regional HR Business Partner (Asia Pacific) & Head of Global HR Shared Services. This was followed by his ascension to Country Head HR – India in September 2013.
Additionally, Rajendra was a part of HCL Technologies from April 2004 to November 2008 as Associate Manager, HR. He is an alumnus of the University of Madras, having gained his Master of Social Work in HRM and OB in 2004. Rajendran also has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the institute.
