Cisco has appointed Gaurav Ahluwalia as the new Vice President and Head of People and Communities for India and South Asia. In the new role, he is expected to strengthen the culture, build an inclusive talent ecosystem, and accelerate the company’s growth across the region.
With more than two decades of experience, he is all set to lead a large workforce and transform workforce management strategies, drive impactful initiatives aligned with Cisco’s vision for the future.

Before joining Cisco, Ahluwalia worked in leadership roles across multiple industries and global companies, namely EY, JP Morgan Chase, HSBC and Escotel Mobile Communications.
At EY, he was a Partner, while at JP Morgan, he was the Managing Director and Head of Human Resources. He served HSBC as the Senior Vice President and Head of Resources, and Escotel as Chief Manager, HR and TQM.
