Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Appoints Vijay Vishwakarma as Head of HR – Domestic West region (Solar EPC & Solar O&M)

Vijay previously served as General Manager – Human Resources (T&D, Civil, Poles & Lighting, Shared Services) at Transrail Lighting Limited. In this role, he led HR for three business units and the Corporate Shared Services function, overseeing areas such as Sales, Manufacturing (Design & Engineering), Finance & Accounts, SCM, IT, Legal, and Audit. His key responsibilities included strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, and driving initiatives like D&I, Armed Forces hiring, campus recruitment, and the GET program. He also spearheaded HR digitization, policy development, performance management, employee relations, and leadership coaching, and established a technical training center to align with business needs.
