AAK has appointed Hargovind Adhikari as Director – HR AMEA (Asia, Middle East, and Africa).

Adhikari spent his week with AAK in Malmö, Sweden, connecting with AAK’s global HR team and seems appreciative of the happy welcome he received from his new team members.

Prior to joining AAK, Adhikari was a part of Mondelēz International for nearly five years. He joined the company in December 2020 as Global People Lead RDQ (BGCM). In April 2022, he was elevated to the position of Global People Lead R&D and AMEA, HR Lead R&D.

For over ten years, Adhikari was affiliated with Citi. He became a part of Citi in November 2010 as Human Resources Generalist – Lead Business Partner, followed by his ascension to Human Resources Generalist – Lead Business Partner in July 2013.
In December 2014, Adhikari became Human Resources Generalist – Lead Business Partner at Citi. He then became Human Resources Lead – HR Strategy & Planning in August 2016. Later, in January 2019, Adhikari was appointed as Talent, Performance, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor.
Additionally, Adhikari has worked for Aon Hewitt in the past, first as a Consultant (April 2008 to August 2010) and then as a Senior Consultant (July 2010 to October 2010).
