Wooqer has appointed Anurag Verma as its Chief People Success Officer, adding a seasoned people leader to its executive team as the company sharpens its focus on scaling culture and capability alongside business growth.
Verma brings close to three decades of experience in human resources and people leadership. He joins Wooqer from ShareChat, where he most recently served as Head of People & Culture and played a key role in strengthening employer branding, upgrading HR systems, and supporting the organisation’s journey towards sustainable profitability.
Over the course of his career, Verma has held senior HR leadership positions at Uniphore, Flipkart, India Telecom Infra Limited (ITIL), and Bharti Airtel, among others. His experience spans managing rapid workforce expansion, leading M&A and integration efforts, building leadership and DEI frameworks, and shaping organisational culture across geographies.
His appointment reflects Wooqer’s emphasis on building high-performance, people-centric systems as it continues to grow its platform and enterprise presence.
