Wipro has promoted Shree Mahapatra to Head of Talent Acquisition- India and Global Leadership, effective March 2025.

Mahapatra has been a part of Wipro for over five years. She joined the company in November 2019 as Director- Strategic Leadership Hiring. Mahapatra held the position until her recent promotion, having contributed significantly to Wipro’s hiring program.
Interestingly, Mahapatra is a boomerang Wipro employee. She had joined the company for the first time in July 2007 as HR- Talent Acquisition. She held the position until December 2015, working as Head Staffing- Capital market (PAN India).
Prior to Wipro, Mahapatra was a part of Tata Communications as Head of Recruitments- Global Sales Group, Products and Security. She joined the company in November 2016 and retained the position until November 2019.
From December 2015 to November 2016, Mahapatra served as Head of Asset Management and Financial Services – HR for AXA.
Mahapatra has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources (HR) from the Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR), Pune.
