Weatherford has appointed Shilpa Kulkarni Dang as Country Head – HR (India).

In her new role, Dang will work with shareholders across global product lines and corporate functions, focusing on supporting and enabling customer delivery teams. She will prioritise HR strategies across India, drive initiatives that enhance agility and performance, support global workforce planning, and build scalable leadership and engagement frameworks.

Before Weatherford, Dang was a part of Ampersand Group as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, having joined the company in May 2025. From March 2020 to October 2023, she was the General Manager – HR, CIF – SAR (India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka) for the Bureau Veritas Group.
Additionally, Dang worked for more than six years for Ajmal Perfumes Manufacturing, first as Senior General Manager – Human Resources from April 2013 to March 2015, and then as Head – Human Resources from April 2015 to August 2019. She has also been a part of Violet Arch Capital Advisors, Medley Pharmaceuticals, Bristol Myers Squibb, HDFC Securities, and Welingkar Institute of Management.
