Walmart has promoted Kushal Bhat to Director – People Strategy.
With well over 10 years of experience, Bhat is a seasoned HR professional who understands he ins and outs of the pharmaceuticals and technology industries. He is particularly well-versed in conflict resolution, business partner relations, management, leadership, and business intelligence.
Bhat joined Walmart in February 2024 as Senior People Partner. He has, since then, been an active part of the company, leading and participating in various programs within and outside India.
Prior to joining Walmart, Bhat had been a part of Razorpay. From April 2022 to February 2024, he worked at the company as Director, Human Resources for Engineering, Product, and Data Organisation. Before that, he worked at Flipart for two years. He was appointed as HRBP for Supply Chain Engineering & Product Teams at Myntra in May 2020 and then became Deputy Director HRBP (Engineering, Product, and Data Science Teams) at Myntra in September 2021.
In December 2018, Bhat started working for Acko as an HR Business Partner (Technology, Product, and Analytics). He was promoted to the position of Associate Director HR (Technology) in January 2020, retaining the role until May 2020. Bhat was also associated with Bayer from March 2017 to December 2018 as HRBP (Sales and Marketing Teams).
From May 2015 to March 2017, Bhat was affiliated with Snapdeal as HRBP (Technology and Product). He also worked for Cognizant as a Team Leader from February 2010 to October 2012, along with serving as a Summer Intern at Philips from April 2014 to June 2014.
