Walmart Global Tech India has appointed Richa Dagar as the Senior Director of People. In the new role, she will bring a decade of experience in leading people-centric strategies to build a future-ready workforce
To join Walmart, Dagar stepped down as Microsoft’s HR Director, India Development Centre. Taking to LinkedIn, she wrote, “Microsoft has been such an integral part of my life — a place where I have experienced immense learning, lasting friendships, and unwavering support through different phases of life.”
She was associated with Microsoft for over 13 years, where she started as a Staffing Consultant and grew with multiple promotions over the years. She also worked with United Health Group and Elixir Web Solutions in human resources functions.
With over two decades of experience in talent management, organisation effectiveness and stakeholder management, Dagar is known for driving organisational design to support rapid growth, strengthening leadership pipelines, and elevating employee experience.
She has also championed diversity and inclusion, fostering cultures rooted in objectivity, transparency and respect. An alumna of the Symbiosis Centre, she holds a PGDBM (HR) certificate.
