Vodafone Idea has appointed Sherry Agarwal as its General Manager – HRBP. In her new role, Sherry will lead HRBP initiatives that align with the company’s business objectives, enhance talent frameworks, and promote a culture of inclusivity and agility. Prior to this, she served as Human Resources Manager at Network18 Media & Investments Limited.
Sherry brings 8 years of HR experience in the information technology and services industry. She is skilled in Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Exits & Attrition Management.
Sherry began her career as an HR Intern at Bajaj Energy Limited in 2016, before joining Birlasoft, where she supported HRBP functions. She later moved to Bharti Airtel, gaining extensive experience in large-scale people strategies, employee engagement, and HR transformation initiatives. Academically, Sherry holds an MBA in HR degree from IBS Hyderabad. During her time at IBS, she served as an executive member of Convergence, the official HR club, and was part of the organizing team for TRISHNA 2016, the institute’s Annual Management & Cultural Fest.
