Vedanta has appointed Neha Sharma as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective February 10, 2026.
Sharma will be succeeding Madhu Srivastava, who has been associated with Vedanta for over 13 years and tendered her resignation, effective January 31, 2026. Srivastava has served as the company’s CHRO for the past seven years.
With over two decades of experience in HR across the United States, Mexico, and India, Sharma is an MBA graduate from MIT Sloan with expertise in organisational transformations, leadership systems that enhance retention, reliability, and profitability, and in combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Prior to Vedanta, Sharma had been associated with Unifi for over 4 years. She joined the company in May 2021 as Vice President – Head of HR Technology & HR Shared Services. This was followed by Sharma becoming Senior Vice President, Human Resources in March 2024 and Head of HR in December 2024.
From October 2020 to April 2021, Sharma was associated with Rippling as Head of HR. She also held the position of Founder at Easel from September 2019 to October 2020. In January 2017, Sharma joined TSYS as an HR Business Partner and held the role until May 2018.
For over 6 years, Sharma was associated with Infsoys. She was first appointed as Associate Lead – HR in March 2010 and became Lead – HR in January 2017. Sharma also worked for Infosys BPM from July 2006 to September 2009 as an HR Specialist.
