Varun Beverages Limited (VBL) has appointed Sarabjeet Singh Gujral as its Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 20, 2026.
The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors through a circular resolution, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and disclosed to the National Stock Exchange and BSE under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations.
Gujral brings over 19 years of HR leadership across the Agri Inputs, FMCG, and Textiles sectors. His most recent role was Head HR for Shriram Farm Solutions, a unit of DCM Shriram. Before that, he spent 11 years with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) in various roles, having joined the company in 2010, and earlier worked for over three and a half years with the Trident Group.
On qualifications, Gujral holds a Master’s in Human Resources and Corporate Governance from IMT Ghaziabad and a Bachelor of Commerce from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Delhi University.
The CHRO appointment came alongside a second C-suite hire. VBL named Srinivasan Sourirajan as Chief Manufacturing Officer, also effective July 20, 2026, bringing over 30 years of FMCG manufacturing leadership from Pernod Ricard India and Perfetti Van Melle. The company has positioned both appointments as support for corporate standardisation, cost efficiency, and operational scale as it commissions new greenfield plants and pursues cross-border expansion, including recent activity in Africa.
