Vanguard India has appointed Gaurav Ahluwalia as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Prior to Vanguard India, Ahluwalia was a part of Ernst & Young (EY). In February 2024, he started working for the consulting firm as a Partner.
For over 11 years, Ahluwalia was associated with JPMorgan Chase and Company. From March 2012 to January 2024, he worked at the company as Managing Director and Head of Human Resources. Ahluwalia was also a part of HSBC for nearly a decade, having served as Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources from September 2002 to to March 2012.
From 1997 to 2002, Ahluwalia worked as Chief Manager of Human Resources and Total Quality Management for Escotel Mobile Communications.
