Usha International has named Dipty Jalan as its Chief Human Resources Officer (SVP – HR). In her new role, she will be responsible for driving the company’s HR strategy for its 3,700-member workforce across India.
Prior to joining Usha International, Dipty Jalan served as Corporate Vice President – Head of Talent Management, Learning, Culture, and Organizational Development at Axis Max Life Insurance. In this role, she spearheaded several enterprise-wide initiatives focused on capability building, leadership development, and driving organizational transformation.
This new appointment marks Dipty Jalan’s second tenure with Usha International. During her earlier association from 2015 to 2024, she spent over nine years in various leadership roles, including Vice President – Head of Talent Management, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, HR Operations, and Regional HR Business Partner. She was instrumental in enhancing HR operations, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving transformation in areas such as compensation, organizational development, capability building, and inclusion. Apart from this, Dipty has also held leadership roles at MTS – Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd and Right Management.
An alumna of Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar), Dipty is deeply passionate about driving organizational transformation and nurturing talent and culture that promote performance and elevate the employee experience. With over 20 years of diverse business experience, she has been recognized with several accolades, including the SHRM Excellence in Learning and Development Award (2019), the Golden Award for Achievement of Functional Goals (2014), and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Global CEO of ManpowerGroup (2013).
