UPL has promoted Vishvender Malik to HR Head – UPL SAS & Global Tech Functions.

Through his new role, Malik is excited to work with teams across the company to reimagine how people, technology, and purpose come together to build a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable organisation.
Malik has been a part of UPL for over 4 years. He joined the company in March 2021 as Lead – Strategic HR Projects & HRBP (Speciality Chemicals Business). He then switched to the position of HR Head – Global Tech Functions (IT, Digital & Analytics) & Speciality Chemical Business in April 2023.
Before UPL, Malik worked for Deloitte Consulting. He started working there in July 2018 as Consultant – HR Transformation and then became Senior Consultant – HR Transformation in July 2019. Malik has also worked for Reliance Industries, first as an HR Analytics & Strategic Initiatives professional from June 2016 to May 2017 and then as an HR Strategy & Transformation professional from June 2017 to July 2018.
Malik was also associated with Dell from November 2013 to July 2014 as Senior Associate II. He has a Master of Business Administraion (MBA) in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, having pursued the degee from 2014 to 2016.
