Apurva Pundir has taken on the role of Chief People & Culture Officer at Trehan IRIS. In this position, he will drive the people and culture strategy as the company continues to build iconic spaces that promote holistic well-being and vibrant communities.
Apurva brings over 15 years of experience in people transformation, organizational design, and digital innovation across fast-growing, complex environments. Previously, he served as Senior Associate Director at KPMG India, where he led Capability Hubs and People Operations for 22,000+ employees, built scalable shared services, and advised CXOs and promoters in sectors such as fintech, real estate, infrastructure, and the public sector. His achievements include creating AI-enabled HR systems, designing future-ready talent architectures, embedding governance frameworks, and implementing business-aligned people strategies that drive growth.
Apurva has also served in interim CHRO roles, where he shaped organizational structures, drove cultural transformation, and aligned workforce strategies with business growth. He is passionate about positioning HR as a true value center—beyond a support function—while helping leadership teams scale with purpose, performance, and trust. Before KPMG, he was with Cognizant, where he spearheaded large-scale talent acquisition and transformation initiatives. He began his career at Bharti Airtel, gaining a solid grounding in HR operations.
