The Sleep Company has appointed Udhay S as its Chief Human Resources Officer, marking a key leadership addition as the Mumbai-based consumer brand continues to scale its people and retail operations.
In his new role, Udhay is leading the company’s overall people agenda, with a focus on building a strong employer brand, developing future-ready talent, and enhancing employee experience across corporate teams, warehouses, and its growing network of retail stores.
Udhay steps into the CHRO role after a successful stint of more than four years at Metro Brands Limited, where he served as Head of Human Resources. During his tenure, he played a central role in strengthening talent management practices and advancing HR technology and HRIS initiatives to support organisational growth.
Earlier in his career, Udhay spent nearly a decade with Landmark Group as Lead Business HR, gaining deep exposure to large-scale retail operations and workforce management. His professional journey also includes HR leadership roles at Big Bazaar (Future Retail) as an HR Business Partner, and an early career role as a Recruitment Specialist at Vodafone.
With close to 20 years of experience across leading consumer and retail organisations, Udhay brings strong expertise in aligning people strategy with business expansion, positioning him to support The Sleep Company’s next phase of growth.
