Tata Sons Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran received a pay of ₹155.81 crore in fiscal year 2024-2025 (FY25). With a 15% rise in his salary compared to FY24, Chandrasekaran has become one of the highest-paid corporate leaders in India.
Chandrasekaran’s compensation included a base salary of ₹15.1 crore and other commissions, as well as ₹140.7 crore as commission on profits. In FY24, he received a remuneration of ₹135 crore.
In the annual report shared by Tata Sons, the company highlighted that its after-tax profit had declined by 24.3% in FY25 to ₹26,232 crore. Tata Sons also shared the details of the compensation of other members of the company’s senior leadership.
Saurabh Agrawal, executive director of Tata Sons, received ₹32.7 crore in FY25, marking a pay jump of 7.7%.
Noel Tata, brother of late Ratan Tata, who joined the board after the latter’s death in October 2024, received a commission on profit of ₹1.42 crore.
Leo Puri, who retired as a board member in March 2025, received ₹3.13 crore in compensation.
Bhaskar Bhat, who also retired as a board member in August 2024, got ₹1.33 crore as commission on profit.
Venu Srinivasan, a representative of Tata Trust on the board, has not received any commissions since his induction to the board.
