TATA AIG General Insurance has appointed Meghana Rao as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). A seasoned HR leader with two decades of experience, she brings expertise across Business Partnering, Change Management, Organisation Design, Performance Management and Analytics, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Diversity, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement. Over her career, she has successfully led and delivered several high-impact projects in these domains.
In her new role, Meghana will spearhead the people’s agenda at Tata AIG to accelerate business growth, foster cultural transformation, and ensure the organisation is future ready. She will work closely with the leadership team to align talent, organisational structure, and culture with the company’s strategic goals.
Her key priorities will include:

- Enhancing leadership effectiveness and succession readiness

Meghana joins TATA AIG from Flipkart, where she served as HR Director for three years. Earlier, she spent 15 years at ICICI Bank in multiple HR leadership roles and also worked with Larsen & Toubro as an HR Manager.
