Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin shared that the state government has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹24,307 crores. The deals, as per the CM, are expected to generate 49,353 jobs.

“Just four days ago, I returned from UK and Germany after signing MoUs for 15,000 crore. Now, we are in Hosur posting bigger numbers in investments – 24,000 crore. We are breaking our own records,” Stalin shared during his address at the TN Rising Investment Conclave in Hosur.

During the event, Stalin also inaugurated four projects worth more than ₹1,210 crore, adding about 8,000 jobs. This included a unit of Delta Electronics and a project of Ascent Circuits in Hosur ELCOT Special Economic Zone.

Stalin went on to declare that his government is making good progress towards the established goal of transforming the state of Tamil Nadu into a trillion-dollar economy by 2030.

“Our aim is to generate employment for the youth and women of Tamil Nadu and elevate their economic status, emphasised Stalin. “To achieve the goal, industrial development is fundamental. This is why we are creating new infrastructure and enhancing existing ones, thereby fortifying the business environment.

Apart from highlighting the state’s 11.19% growth rate, Stalin also announced the global innovation summit being held by Tamil Nadu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Movement on October 9 and 10, 2025.

“This summit is set to be a landmark occasion that will unite entrepreneurs, investors, incubators, and innovators from across the globe,” said the minister.

In an effort to boost the economy and employment opportunities in Tamil Nadu, Stalin’s government is also focusing on the development of Hosur’s infrastructure. This includes the construction of a new airport along with other amenities.

“We are prioritising the development of Hosur airport featuring world-class, state-of-the-art infrastructure on 2,000 acres, shared Stalin. “This international airport is expected to pave the way for a new phase of development in Hosur.”
