Suzlon Group has appointed Kamesh Chaganti as the new Head – HR, South (India Business). In his new position, he will shape and drive the HR strategy for Suzlon’s southern India operations to support talent planning, leadership development, and culture transformation as the company scales its renewable energy business.
Before this, Chaganti spent over a decade at Zee Entertainment Enterprises, where he held senior HR positions, including General Manager & Head of Human Resources and later leadership roles supporting global people strategy, talent frameworks, and capability initiatives.
He also led HR functions at Star TV, strengthening people processes in one of India’s major media networks. Earlier in his HR journey, Kamesh worked with Tech Mahindra, where he gained foundational experience in human resources, and Navya Engineers & Equipment at the start of his professional career.
He brings over two decades of experience in strategic HR, organisational capability building, talent management, and employee engagement.
His rich cross-sector experience has shaped his ability to align HR strategies with evolving business priorities, which Suzlon Group aims to leverage for developing people strategies in the South India market.
